Nokia 808 ; Huawei Ascend D @ Mobile World Congress 2012

Nokia 808 and Huawei Ascend D were launched at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, on Monday, Feb. 27, 2012. The Mobile World Congress, operated by the GSMA, expects 60,000 visitors and 1400 companies to attend the four-day technology industry event which runs Feb. 27 through March 1.

Nokia Chief executive Stephen Elop told reporters at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona that the new phones — a low-price euro189 ($254) smartphone that runs on Windows software and the , a handset with a high-resolution 41 megapixel camera — demonstrate "the actions necessary to improve the fortunes of Nokia."

Announced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the Huawei Ascend D Quad features a 1.5GHz quad-core processor developed by Huawei itself and a 4.5-inch display fed by the most powerful graphics processor in the industry.

At 4.5 inches, the Ascend D Quad is markedly bigger than the iPhone 4S.
