The Indian media industry has evolved over the years and is today replete with innovative ideas and ventures. FOOTPRINTS is one such avenue which allows students and aspiring media professionals to explore these opportunities. Interactive sessions with stalwarts and pioneers from the media industry will provide the students with valuable insights, thus influencing and moulding future careers in the field of Media & Communication.
The seminar is a day-long event that will comprise interaction between students and the pioneers in the media along with a sumptuous fare (welcome drink, lunch & tea with snacks). The youth is our primary target audience and the event is being covered by the media. The national-level online media partners are Pitch, Pagalguy.com, exchange4media.com and Impact.

• Dr. Sukumar Azhikode, noted writer and social activist – to participate in the journalism panel discussion on the topic – ‘Malayalam News Media: Voice of the public or mouth-piece of the power players’.
• Mr. T.N. Gopakumar, head of programming, ASIANET TV and host of popular news and current affairs show KANNADI – to participate in the journalism panel discussion on the topic – ‘Malayalam News Media: Voice of the public or mouth-piece of the power players’.
• Mr. K.M. Roy, award-winning senior journalist – to participate in the journalism panel discussion on the topic – ‘Malayalam News Media: Voice of the public or mouth-piece of the power players’.
• Mr. Jayant Mathew, Executive Editor, Malayala Manorama – to participate in the journalism panel discussion on the topic – ‘Malayalam News Media: Voice of the public or mouth-piece of the power players’.(not confirmed-most likely : Johny Lukose, MMTV
