is the Inaugural Film of 12th Internation Film Festival of Kerala at 7pm on Friday, 7th December 2007 at Nishagandhi.
The beauty and grief of present-day Afghanistan receives epic, poetic treatment from Hana Makhmalbaf.
The film’s title comes from Hana’s father. According to her, Mohsen meant that “even a statue can be ashamed of witnessing all this violence and harshness happening to these innocent people and, therefore, collapse.”

10 theatres are booked at Thiruvananthapuram for the film festival till 14th to find who will bag the Suvarna Chakoram and a cash prize of Rs. 10,00,000.
