Like Bill Gates Steve Ballmer attacked - Videos

Most of the Indian Newspapers have not reported this story even though they were busy posting details about Microsft Yahoo merger blah-blah.

University in Budapest on Monday. A student threw three eggs at Steve Ballmer, the head of the world's largest software maker Mirosoft, while he spoke at a university.

Translation of the Hungarian:
"This country will pay a lot for this guy parading around here". He wore a T-shirt on saying "Microsoft = Corruption"

The story: (as described by http://youtube.com/user/amalono)
In March the Hungarian government made a contract with Microsoft, about licensing their software for university students and public servants (cca. 500000 ppl). The contract will last till March 2009, so only one year, and it costs (25000 Million FT = 147M $) from the taxpayers money. (just calculate: 147M/500k = 300$/man for a 1 year microsoft license, LOL :D)
The competitors of Microsoft hadn't had a chance, so they went to court.

And to make it more irritating, Ballmer today made another 10000 Million Ft contract with the government, for theaching Microsoft software

Schools in Kerala logged Microsoft out of schools back in 2006.
"Microsoft boss Bill Gates wants to push his operating system using the services of software developers who had adopted it and this was made clear by several experts in the field. The government should, therefore, be very careful when dealing with Microsoft," Achuthanandan had then written to the government headed by Congress chief minister A K Antony.

"Microsoft was the first company in 50 years of EU competition policy that the commission has had to fine for failure to comply with an antitrust decision,"
