Railway Budget 2013 Kerala Highlights in Focus

These are some of  the updates in Railway Budget 2013-14 for Kerala . It is disappointing.

New Express trains

Visakhapatnam – Kollam Express (Weekly)


Extension of Trains
12507/12508 Guwahati-Ernakulam Express to
Thiruvananthapuram
66611/66612 Ernakulam-Thrisur MEMU to Palakkad
66304/66305 Kollam-Nagarcoil MEMU to Kanniyakumari

Increase in frequency
12217/12218 Kochuveli – Chandigarh Express 1 to 2 days

Passenger Trains
Shoranur – Kozhikode Passenger (Daily)
Thrisur-Guruvayur Passenger (Daily)

Sections proposed to be doubled in 2013-14
Mulanturutti-Piravom
Piravom Road-Kuruppantara

There is proposal to increase in supplementary charge for superfast trains, reservation fee, clerkage
charge, cancellation charge and tatkal charge

Mandatory carrying of ID cards by passengers with reserved tickets;
1800 111 321 TollFree for railway catering services monitoring cell

UPDATE: Test Transmission of Radio Mirchi, Big FM, S-FM started from Trivandrum. Listen online samples here Malayala Manorama Radio Mango 91.9 FM from Kochi, Thrissur, Kannur and Kozhikode. Ad Labs Films Ltd BIG 92.7 FM from Thiruvananthapuram Sunnetwork S-FM 93.5 from Cochin, Kannur, Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram Mathrubhumi Club FM Club FM 94.3 from Kochi, Kannur, Thiruvananthapuram and Thrissur. Radio Mirchi 98.3 got license only in Thiruvananthapuram while asianet only in Trissur... Atleast 2 channels will go air this month.

Just saw a news in Asianet about AryansInfoway. This scam was predicted last year . Students were given campus placement from Bangalore, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh and other remote locations offered 10k salary against 1 lakh bond for 3 years.. As the above new shows, a case has been registered against AryansInfoway at Thampanoor police Station in Trivandrum. Complaint also filed at Technopark. These type of problems happen because no one cannot do anything against firms like these since the employees of the companies oppose this.
