Co-operative Banks deposits to be taxed

The Central Board of Direct Taxes has started Project UCB. The aim is to understand the details of deposits for which interest is  more than 10000 and no tax is deducted. 
2664 bank branches will come under the purview of this operation. 
This was reported by Malayalam newspapers today.

Ad Labs Films Ltd BIG 92.7 FM from Thiruvananthapuram Sunnetwork S-FM 93.5 from Cochin, Kannur, Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram Mathrubhumi Club FM Club FM 94.3 from Kochi, Kannur, Thiruvananthapuram and Thrissur.
